On Thursday, May 14th 2009 Showtime Events pulled out all the stops to throw an unforgettable party for a premier group of event industry professionals who were invited to Alabama’s Gulf Coast. This 3-day trip was organized by Alabama’s Gulf Coast Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to showcase all the area has to offer. The events culminated at the newly designed water park called The Oasis, which is located at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama.
The Oasis at The Wharf is the best place on the Gulf Coast to spend a day or hold your next corporate or social event. This little corner of paradise features three pools, including a zero-entry pool, lagoon pool, lazy river, waterfalls, spa activity pool area, sandy beaches, sun, palm trees, hammock island, and tiki bar.
Guests were greeted by a large hand carved sand castle showcasing the logo of The Wharf and a stunning decor and lighting package provided by Showtime Events. Local businesses such as Distinctive Kitchens, Emerald Coast Coffee, Guy Harvey, Live Bait, Rafters, Rum Runners, Tropic Ice & Villaggio’s were all able provide guests with their signature food and beverage specialties.
While at the event, guests were able to receive a 15 minute complimentary spa session provided by the Aveda Fusion Spa Salon, what a hit! Showtime Events also provided the live entertainment for the event and sponsored the prizes for the Crab Racing Game, an incentive game that got everyone on their feet!
The Event Industry Professionals that traveled from Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisana all commented on what a wonderful time they had and how excited they were to bring future groups to The Wharf. Showtime Events created a memorable evening for everyone who attended the event!
